This policy explains what personal information Crownseam collects through crownseam.com, why, and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who we are

What we collect
- Quote and free mockup requests: your name, email, club or company, country, sport, garments, sizes, notes and design details you type in.
- Files you email to us (logos, sketches, artwork) to prepare your mockups and quote.
- Pattern library and newsletter sign-ups: name (for patterns), email, and optionally your role and country.
- Basic website statistics (pages viewed, country, device type) collected by Cloudflare without cookies and without identifying you.
Why we use it
- To reply to your request, prepare mockups, quotes and samples, and fulfil orders (our legitimate interest in answering you, and steps before a contract).
- To send you new designs and offers only if you ticked the box or subscribed (your consent). Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell your information and we do not use advertising cookies.
Who helps us (processors)
- HubSpot (customer database and website forms, USA)
- Zoho Mail (business email)
- Cloudflare (website security, delivery and cookie-free statistics)
- Our website server provider (Contabo, Germany)
Some of these providers store data outside the UK and EU. They use standard safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum and EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and customer records: up to 3 years after our last contact, or longer where tax and accounting law requires order records. Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, to stop marketing, or to object to how we use it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month. If you are in the UK you can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Cookies and storage
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The website stores a small note in your own browser (local storage) so the free pattern library stays unlocked after you sign up. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.

We will update this page if anything changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
